What's the story?
The Theatre Royal Pantomime for 2013 was Peter Pan starring American TV and film star David Hasselhoff, actress Su Pollard and children’s presenter Barney Harwood.
As is normal, the Panto launch can often take place several months before the Panto starts in order to actively start the marketing campaign for the venue’s biggest show of the year. In this case the launch took place in June 2013, six months before opening night.
Su Pollard and Barney Harwood attended the launch; however, David Hasselhoff was unable to be there and so a life-size cardboard cut-out of him dressed in his role as Captain Hook took pride of place.
Su Pollard and Barney Harwood are happy to pose for the cameras on the Theatre Royal’s Dress Circle and outside the venue with their 2D Hasselhoff.
