Night Must Fall is a 1935 drama by Welsh writer, director and actor Emlyn Williams (1905 – 1987).
Williams himself played the part of Dan, a psychopathic murderer, when the play was staged at the Theatre Royal in 1943.
The play is often highlighted as being one of the first for exploring a killer’s psychological state.
This 1989 touring revival starred Pamela Salem, Frances Cuka, David Moran, Gareth Forwood, Shirley Hafey, Roger Heathcott, Patricia Leach and Sue Mann.
