What's the story?
Duggie Chapman, was Northern based comedian, producer and promoter, who at his peak during the 1970s had a number of music-hall style variety shows occurring up and down the country.
By 1986, Chapman was now capitalising on music-hall as nostalgia and was still able to programme legendary acts such as Tommy Trinder, Rosemary Squires, Ronnie Hilton and Roy Rolland as Old Mother Riley.
