What's the story?
This production starred singer Ronnie Hilton, described in the programme as "a warm, flesh-and-blood young man, like the chap sitting beside you listening to the radio, or the fellow who has just tapped the bowl of his pipe gently against the fender before taking the dog out for a run"
This production took place in 1961. Four years before Hilton’s biggest hit ‘A Windmill in Old Amsterdam’. In 1967 Hilton also recorded a cover of David Bowie’s ‘The Laughing Gnome’.
Goldliocks also starred Peter Butterworth as Madame Rose Ringler, Jennifer Burch as Goldilocks and Joe Black as Humphrey, plus The Hassani Troupe and The Falcons.
