First broadcast on the BBC in 1981, Postman Pat was an animated children’s TV series, created by Ivor Wood, aimed at pre-school children.
Set in the fictional village of Greendale, episodes followed the adventures of postman Pat Clifton and his ‘black and white cat’ Jess as they deliver mail across the valley.
This production was devised and directed for the stage by Charles Savage.
