Regarded not only as one of Arthur Miller’s finest plays, but as one of the greatest plays of the 20th century, Death of a Salesman explores the reality of the American Dream, through the story of aging salesman Willy Loman and his family.

Death of a Salesman premiered on Broadway in February 1949, winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for that year.

Directed by David Thacker, this 1997 National Theatre revival included Alun Armstrong, Mark Strong, Louise Jameson, Ed Bishop, Martin McDougall and Shane Rimmer.
