Description
Double-sided leaflet for farce Funny Peculiar by Mike Stott.
What's the story?
Funny Peculiar is a bawdy farce set in the North of England. It was first produced in Germany in 1973, as due to its subject matter it was banned from other theatres.
It was until a ground-breaking production at the Liverpool Everyman in 1975 that the play became more accepted for its liberating attitude towards the permissive society, set in the Pennines.
This 1987 touring production starred Peter Duncan and Page 3 model from The Sun newspaper Linda Lusardi.
