What's the story?
Night and Day is a 1978 play by Tom Stoppard set in the imaginary post-colonial country of Kambawi and explores the themes of colonisation, journalism and the media. All sprinkled throughout with Stoppard’s characteristic wordplay.
This touring production followed a successful two year run in London at the Phoenix Theatre, where the lead roles of Richard Wagner and Ruth Carson were played by John Thaw and Diana Rigg.
