The New Wing by H.A. Kennedy was produced by Willie Edouin, an actor, performer, writer, director and theatre manager.
From 1884 Edouin managed several theatres in London, notably the Strand, where he produced a number of comedies, farces and burlesques, including The New Wing.
In July 1885 Edouin had performed at the Theatre Royal with Lionel Brough as part of the Babes Burlesque Company.
Note how this performance of The New Wing was preceded by another show, the ‘Comedietta’ Boys Will Be Boys.
