What's the story?

A former miner and member of the Royal Air Force during the war, Harry Worth was a hugely popular comedian and entertainer.
His career was given a big push when he was the support act for Laurel and Hardy during their 1952 UK tour.
According to legend, it was during the Nottingham leg of the tour that Oliver Hardy advised Worth to drop the ventriloquist side of his act and concentrate on being a comedian.
Also appearing in Turn Again Whittington were Pat Lancaster, Sonny Jenks, Tudor Evans, Janette Miller, The Munks Twins and The Cox Twins.
