Date

11 March 1985

Description

Full programme for the Nottinghamshire Scouts and Guides Gang Show, taking place at the Theatre Royal in March 1985.

What's the story?

The Gang Show which has been going for over 60 years in Nottingham is produced on alternate years at the Theatre Royal and now involves almost 200 young people from the Scouting and Guiding movements in the county.
It is based on an idea by Ralph Reader created in 1932 and is a mix of songs, dance and comedy sketches which gives the performers an opportunity to hone their skills over a six month period of rehearsal before the week-long show in the spring.
