This Pantomime production starred comedians Little and Large, Leslie Grantham, Patsy Ann Scott, The Acraloons, Forbes Collins, Richard Cadell, Ken Wilson and featured the ‘Rapid Waterfalls Spectacular’.
It is interesting to note that although the Robin Hood character has always featured in the show, this Panto title is often referred to as simply ‘Babes in the Wood’.
Was Robin Hood added to the title to boost the presence of Leslie Grantham (1947 – 2018) playing the role? He was still very well-known from the BBC EastEnders soap-opera.
