What's the story?
This production of Babes in the Wood starred comedy double-act The Krankies (aka married couple Jeanette and Ian Tough) as the Bad Robbers, Roy Hudd as Simple Simon, Barry Howard as Nurse Merryweather, Rita Morris as Maid Marion and Barry Kent as Robin Hood.
There is also a “spectacular waterfall”.
Roy Hudd was to return to the Theatre Royal five years later in Cinderella in 1985.
Looking at ticket prices, the most expensive seats are £4.50 on the Dress Circle. This equates to £13.49 in 2019.
For Peter Pan, the 2018 Theatre Royal Pantomime the most expensive ticket was in fact £33.50.
