What's the story?
With a country house setting, Noel Coward’s comedy play Hay Fever was first produced in 1925 and concerns the eccentric Bliss family and their respective weekend guests.
This 1981 touring production featured such eminent actors as Glynis Johns and John le Mesurier, for whom this was to be amongst their final theatre roles, alongside Isla Blair and Donald Pickering.
This production of Hay Fever was directed by Michael Blakemore, whose previous work included stints at both the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
