Founded in 1926 by Warsaw born Dame Marie Rambert (1888 – 1982) as a classical ballet company, Rambert is one of the UK’s leading contemporary dance companies.
Previously known as Ballet Rambert and Rambert Dance Company, Rambert have been a frequent visitor to the Theatre Royal for many decades.
This programme of work from 1991 presents the work of leading choreographers, such as Merce Cunningham, Richard Alston and Siobhan Davies.
