Dracula & Frankenstein - Leaflet, 1989

Title

Dracula & Frankenstein - Leaflet, 1989

Date

4 September 1989

Description

Fold-out leaflet for the New Vic Touring Company productions of Dracula and Frankenstein.

What's the story?

“Two fabulous monster shows in one week” with comedic stage adaptations of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, adapted by Phil Woods, with Michael Bogdanov and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, adapted by Phil Woods.

This leaflet has been made available as a loan to the Theatre Royal for digitisation and uploading to the archive by the Wilson family in Nottingham. Their collection of Theatre Royal ephemera relates from 1980 to 2000. This was a period of regular theatre visits, inspired by their youngest son, described as “the driving force” for seeing so many shows at the venue.
Having heard an appeal for items relating to the Theatre Royal’s past, they contacted the venue to offer their important family collection.
