What's the story?
Crazy for You is a romantic comedy musical with a book by Ken Ludwig, lyrics by Ira Gershwin, and music by George Gershwin.
Billed as ‘The New Gershwin Musical Comedy’, it is largely based on the song writing team’s 1930 musical Girl Crazy, but features other songs from their extensive repertoire.
The show opened on Broadway in 1992 and in the West End the following year, where it ran for three years, immediately followed by this large UK tour.
Songs featured in the show include Someone To Watch Over Me, Embraceable You, Shall We Dance and I Got Rhythm.
