What's the story?
The Gang Show which has been going for over 60 years in Nottingham is produced on alternate years at the Theatre Royal and now involves almost 200 young people from the Scouting and Guiding movements in the county.
It is based on an idea by Ralph Reader, with the first Gang Show created in 1932
The show is a mix of songs, dance and comedy sketches, which gives the performers an opportunity to hone their skills over a six-month period of rehearsal before the week-long show in the spring.
Have you taken part in the Theatre Royal Gang Show? Could you offer any photographs, stories or information about your experience that could become part of this archive? If so, please visit our contact page.
