The cast list of the opera showing the performers, conductors, including the world famous Vilem Tausky, and the director of the company, H.B. Phillips. Tausky was the company's musical director from 1945 - 49 and became principal conductor of the the BBC Symphony Orchestra from 1956-1966 and will be remembered by people of a certain age as appearing regularly on Friday Night is Music Night on the 'Light Programme'!
The programme has been signed by Janet Howe (Carmen), Cedric Hamilton and Margery Field. The show played for two weeks and the Carl Rosa Opera Company was one of the leading opera companies of the post war period and still exists as a trust today.
