This telegram is in the private collection of Susan Spencer, who as a young girl was one of the local dancers in The Pied Piper, the Theatre Royal pantomime for 1968/1969. Stars of the Panto were Freddie Davies and Mark Wynter.
Mark Wynter was a pop star and teen idol during the 1960s. His hits included Venus in Blue Jeans and Go Away Little Girl.
Susan Spencer was a big fan of Mark and this telegram was in response to her father contacting the panto production company to arrange a surprise birthday bouquet to be given to Susan by Mark in his dressing room at the Theatre Royal
